Privacy Policy

Who we are

Falia is operated by the Falia team. If anything in this policy is unclear, write to us at support@falia.app and a human will answer.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and sign-in identifiers (for example from Sign in with Apple).
• Onboarding answers: your name, age, the life areas you choose to focus on, and how you say life feels right now.
• Content you create: the affirmation lines you write and the names you give your playlists.
• Voice recordings: the affirmations you record line by line stay on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. If you choose to create a cloned voice, a short sample you record for that purpose is sent to ElevenLabs, our voice provider, to build your private voice model (see "Your voice").
• Vision board photos: if you put your own photo on a vision board goal, it is stored privately in your account so it follows you to a new phone. Only you can see it; it is never shared, never used for anything else, and it is deleted when you remove the goal or your account.
• Preferences: your language, appearance, focus areas and notification settings.
• Usage and diagnostics: product analytics events, crash reports, device and app version information, and your subscription status.
• Advertising identifier: on iPhone, only if you allow tracking when Falia asks; on Android, your device's advertising ID. We use it only to measure whether our own posts and ads brought you to Falia (see Meta under Service providers).
• Referral clicks: if you reach us through a link shared by a creator or partner, we record that the link was opened, which link it was, roughly where in the world the click came from, and your browser type. We do not store your IP address; we keep only a scrambled, one-way form of it, which lets us tell two visits apart without ever knowing the address. This is kept for 90 days and is not linked to your name or email.

How we use your data

• To personalize your playlists: your focus areas and answers shape which affirmations and playlists you see.
• To generate content: AI helps write affirmation lines and voice the AI playlists you listen to.
• To run your subscription and restore purchases.
• To fix crashes, prevent abuse and improve the app.
• To measure our own advertising: which posts and ads actually bring people to Falia, so we can stop paying for the ones that don't.

We do not sell your personal data, and Falia shows no ads inside the app. To measure our own advertising, we share limited app events with Meta, as described under Service providers.

AI processing

Some content in Falia is generated by third-party AI providers working on our behalf, such as suggested affirmation lines and the AI-voiced audio in the playlist library.

We do not allow our AI providers to use your personal details or the content you write to train their models. The affirmations you record line by line never leave your device. The only exception is voice cloning: if you opt in, the short sample you record is sent to ElevenLabs, our voice provider, to create your private voice model (see "Your voice").

Your voice

Voice cloning is optional, off until you choose it, and available only to adults 18 and over (a voice model is biometric information). If you opt in, we ask for your explicit consent, then send a short recording of your voice to our voice provider (ElevenLabs) to create a private voice model, used only to generate affirmations in your own voice.

Your voice is personal, and you stay in control of it. You can delete your voice at any time from your profile, which removes the voice model and the sample we stored; deleting your account removes them too. We do not use your voice to train any provider's models, and we never share it for advertising.

Service providers

We share data only with the companies below, and only what each needs:

• Supabase: database, authentication and storage.
• AI providers (Anthropic and Google): generating affirmation text.
• ElevenLabs: text-to-speech for the AI-voiced playlists, and, if you opt into voice cloning, creating and storing your private voice model from your sample. We send the affirmation text to be voiced (and, for cloning, your voice sample), never your name or profile.
• RevenueCat: subscription management. We send your email address and name so a purchase can be matched to your account. Payment itself is processed by Apple; we never see your card details.
• Sentry: crash and error reporting.
• PostHog: product analytics.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram): advertising measurement. We send app events such as installing Falia, finishing setup, and starting or paying for a subscription, together with a random account ID, so we can tell which posts and ads actually bring people here. On iPhone, your device's advertising identifier is included only if you allow tracking when asked; on Android, you can reset or limit your advertising ID in your system settings. We never send your email address, your name, your affirmations, your letters, your vision board or your voice.

Retention

Your profile, focus areas and written affirmations stay in your account for as long as it exists. Voice recordings live on your device and are removed when you delete the playlist or the app. Vision board photos are kept in your account until you remove the goal or delete your account. If you create a cloned voice, your voice model and sample are kept until you delete your voice or your account. Diagnostic and analytics data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account inside the app at any time, from Profile, then Settings, then Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, answers and written content from our systems. Recordings stored on your device are removed when you delete the app.

You can also email support@falia.app and we will delete your account for you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR in Europe and the KVKK in Turkey, you have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we will honor these requests.

Children

Falia is for people aged 17 and over, and voice cloning is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
